Final inspections of common-rail products, which are utilized in the automotive industry, are carried out using a semi-automated workbench prior to packaging.

The process automation workbench is equipped with the following features:

• Card reader and barcode reader for monitorability
• Locking switch positioned to ensure proper fixture positioning
• Image processing system with five cameras located at specific angles for general visual control, color control, cover/no-cover control
• Printer for printing required barcodes within system parameters for approved products
• Ability to control 32 different products on the same bench with no adjustments needed, only fixture set-up
• Software module that communicates visual data, codes, time, and employee information required by the customer with the company's ERP system.
